The TAN Co. offers a totally new tanning environment for your comfort:

• Both standard (UV) and sunless (spray) technologies to get you the tan you want, the way you want it. You can even combine the two for perfect and longer-lasting colour.

• Clean, warm, friendly, welcoming environment. Get up-scale treatment without the up-scale price.

• Member, SmartTan International, National Tanning Training Institute (NTTI), and Joint Canadian Tanning Association (JCTA). Multiple memberships ensures a broad coverage of the technologies and safe practices expected within the industry, and allows us to keep abreast of the latest news regarding ultraviolet exposure, tanning and Vitamin D so we can ensure that we are providing valid and accepted information.  All staff are SmartTan-certified to ensure that you have the proper information to get and maintain that perfect tan, both indoors and out.

• Large selection of high-quality skin care products.  Tanning lotions, moisturizers, tan extenders, body washes, and sunscreens.  We take skin care seriously.

• Newer tanning beds provide some of the latest in tanning technology.  Four beds, one booth.

• Maximum session times from 10 to 20 minutes.

• Three levels of beds plus standup allow you to achieve and maintain your tan in a well-controlled environment.

• Large selection of tanning lotions (bronzers, intensifiers, tingle, coolant and more) and moisturizers help you achieve your tan faster, get better colour and help it last longer. Proper use of lotions can actually mean fewer tanning sessions to achieve the same colour.

• Extra care taken to prevent over-exposure. We follow SmartTan practices and manufacturer recommendations

• Lamp changes are done when they reach 70-75% of their expected lifetimes. New lamps - no rotation, no single replacements, no top/bottom only - ALL lamps are changed. You're paying for a tan, you get a tan.

• Beds and all touchable surfaces are sanitized after each use to ensure a clean, healthy environment. Sanitizer stays on the bed for at least one full minute to ensure that the surfaces are germ-free. We take extra care to ensure that our facilities are clean and sanitary.

Sunless (spray) tanning

• White to tan in 10 minutes or less,

• Tan lasts 7-10 days depending on skin care

• Tan only what you want - full body, face/neck only, legs only ... your choice!

• Spray is done by a person, not a booth - so you get attention to detail AND proper colour.

• Technicians are certified for spray tan application and sunless technologies.

• Laser-guided spray tan system provides perfect coverage with no streaking.

• Aloe-based DHA formulation gives excellent colour while moisturizing your skin. No orange tints, no blotching.

• Tan extending products available to help your tan last as long as possible.

• Free touch-ups if needed within 24 hours. We want your tan to look good.

Oh - and it's not, and shouldn't be, all about colour: non-burning UVB exposure to skin, whether from the sun or a tanning bed, is the best natural source for Vitamin D - the "Sunshine Vitamin". Short exposure in a tanning bed can provide 100 TIMES more Vitamin D than a glass of milk. 97% of Canadians are Vitamin D deficient most of the year and this may be contributing to a number of health problems that are rampant in our society.
